We’re looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Business Development Manager to help us grow by winning new clients. You’ll champion our core services – from Managed IT and Cyber Security to cutting-edge AI and Automation – working closely with technical and marketing teams to deliver true value.

What you’ll be doing
- Hunting for new business: Identify, engage, and close deals with SMB/SME clients (5 – 300 staff) in Kent and surrounding areas.
- Owning the full sales cycle: From discovery to proposal to signature – with expert support from our solution architects and marketing team.
- Representing our brand: Attend and speak at events, expos, and networking sessions as a face of Select Technology.
- Leading on tenders: Create persuasive, client-focused submissions that win.
What will you bring to the table?
- Minimum of 3 years’ B2B sales experience – ideally in IT, tech, MSP, or consultancy services
- A consultative, value-driven sales style
- Understanding of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, cyber security, or cloud/modern workplace solutions
- CRM discipline and strong pipeline management skills
- Comfortable speaking at events and networking with senior decision-makers
- A natural curiosity and genuine passion for technology – you keep informed, ask questions, and are always keen to learn and share new ideas
The nitty gritty details
- Base Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
- Commission: Uncapped – 100% of first month’s Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), plus bonuses for projects and hardware/software (new clients only)
- Bonuses: Additional bonus for achieving quarterly MRR target.
- OTE: £80,000 – £100,000+
- Flexible hybrid working, 26 days holiday, strong culture of growth & innovation.
- Our working hours are 9:00 – 5:30 Monday to Friday, but sometimes we might ask you to be a bit flexible on this for events.
